I got my scanner today, yaaay! I think it's better than the old one :nod:

1,500 pageviews later and here's ~Surlaw-The-Mai's gift art! lol I'm so sorry it took me so long, I was soooo lazy... Again, this is Zach's sister.

This one didn't take me as long as Obi-Wan did (in hours... it probably took more days, lol). Probably because it lacks the detail on the skin and I half-assed the hair... Sorry! The sweatshirt was done with one of my new charcoal pencils, the HB one. I went to look at the only charcoal pencil I owned and figured out why I was having such a hard time making lighter tones; it's a 6B!! lol, dur.

I finished this one and went, ah, I'm done! And then proceeded to completely rework the shading on the face ;) I hope it's believable.

You finally nailed that shading. While I love the whole drawing, I am most impressed with the hair texturing. I really like what you did with it. Excellent work.

my favourite part is the hair, but you could give the eyes a little bit of shinning to make them look better and i think you should mark the lids a little bit more. But you don't have problems with the shading, that obvious!!!
